Planting a Tree in Our Garden

Very early on the morning of November 8th, the Sisters of Marylrose Residence gathered in the garden to plant a sapling in honour of Mother Marie Rose’s 200th birthday.

The sapling itself is very special since it is an off-shoot of the beautiful white lilac growing in front of the Foundation House in Longueuil.

The short ceremony drew curious neighbours to their windows and a few squirrels as well.

Now this little green space can really be called “Marie-Rose Garden”.
