Water is Peace

Fresh water is a mobile resource that is not contained by human-made boundaries: national or state/province/district boundaries.

Questions for contemplation and action

· What regional, provincial, state or national boundaries must the fresh water cross in order to reach your home?

· Can you describe some of the major issues relating to water in your region? (ex. pollution, distribution, sanitation, privatization, over-pumping of aquifers, river diversions, competing interests…)

· What is happening in your region to defend and protect water and water systems?  How can you be involved?
